ZaZa Bazaar

Bristol

Centrally Located on Bristol’s harbourside Za Za Bazaar houses 1000 covers over two floors. Six open kitchens and two bars serve up a global cuisine in a buffet style.

Based on the exotic night time ‘food streets’ of the far east the concept was created by branding experts Mystery who brought in Dover Design to help realise and deliver the concept for their client’s team headed by Head chef Nitin Bhatnagar.

Five metre high curtain walling was installed allowing views into the restaurantenticing customers to an interior adorned with acres of neon signs and exotic lighting. Coupled with street graphics and imagery from every corner of the globe the six ‘kitchens’ are arranged as a series of islands around which customers can meander and serve themselves to cuisines including Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Thai and European.

60,000 covers in it’s first month of opening and fully booked during what is traditionally the quietest period of the year is evidence that the hard work of the team has paid off with results exceeding all expectations.
